Silverstone always gives amazing races and this year as well the MotoGP race gave us strong emotions from the starting to the checkered flag.

Dovizioso, who is now in all respects the best performing rider of the season, conquered a great victory on the british circuit, after a tactic comeback from the beginning till the very last laps.

“Professor Dovizioso” as he has been nicknamed in Ducati, is now on top of the world championship standings by9 points from Marquez, after the retire of Marquez due to the thruster broken.
Ducati and Dovi seems to be a symbiotic couple and are the proof that hard work always pays off.
Ten years after that magic 2007 Championship of Casey Stoner, with 4 victory the rider from Forli is becoming dangerous for everyone.

Back to the race, first positions has been taken by Rossi, Vinales, Marquez, Dovizioso and Crutchlow, everyone very close one to the other and always fighting. After Marquez Honda engine broke 7 laps before the end, while he was running third behind Rossi and Dovizioso and the upcoming tires deterioration, what made the difference was the ability to balance the driving according to the quickly changing conditions, especially in the final phase of the race. Dovizioso underlines once again that he is the best rider that can do that, getting closer to Rossi with perfect timing and overtaking him 2 laps before the end, also whitstanding the desperate Vinales attack at the last lap.

Looking at Suzuki, good advance for the rookie Alex Rins, 9th with a good pace and fighting for the top 10 positions. The young talented rider, after the starting training which has been delayed due to the injuries, is now driving as he knows. Unfortunately Iannone falls down few laps before the end for a crash with Petrucci while he was orbiting between 12th and 13th positions.

Now let’s wait for Misano, in 15 days, another legendary circuit, a race that promises to be the heart of this balanced season. It will be a very important business trip for sakartdesign as well, looking at 2018 season, stay tuned..

In Moto2 Nakagami is the race protagonist. He started from second row and various overtakes later he takes the lead of the race up to the end. The podium is completed by the other two italians Mattia Pasini and Franco Morbidelli.
