DUCATI HYPERLEGGERA CONCEPT BIKE (2009)

Our design proposal conceived for a new Ducati “Superleggera”, the only one model that Ducati still didn’t have in the 2009 Model Year. The style and the project was born to propose our “point of view” of a new “pure motorcycle”, fun, agile and in the same time fast, inspired to the 70’s Ducati TT2 600.

The chromatic scheme of the shapes and the chassis created the style of this project by SAKARTDESIGN. An article of this concept was published in MONDO DUCATI Italian Magazine on February 2010 issue.

BENELLI SHAKTI CONCEPT BIKE (2010)

The name meaning “Power” or “empowerment,” is the primordial cosmic energy and represents the dynamic forces that are thought to move through the entire universe in Hinduism. Shakti is the concept, or personification, of divine feminine creative power, sometimes referred to as ‘The Great Divine Mother’ in Hinduism. Surely this definition is perfect for the design, style and shapes of our superbike concept conceived for Benelli in 2010.

This concept was born to propose a “Totally Italian Superbike” that redefined the design of a future potential sport superbike of the Pesaro manufacturer. An article of this concept was published in MOTO SPECIAL Italian magazine on September 2010 issue.

SBIK_E THE ELECTRIC SUPERBIKE (2010)

We discovered the new electric TTXGP championship during the 2009 Isle of Man TT, that gave us an idea: create an electric superbike for the road and the racing championships of the near future. The design layout direction evolved from the concept of a fun and zero carbon-emissions motorcycle and is inspired by sea creatures. The front fairing strongly characterizes the motorcycle design the two symmetric lights/direction indicators create the eyes of the creature.

The black/white bodywork creates an aerodynamic sculptured shape. The big tubular chassis is embedded in this shape like a skeleton, and creates the graphic color concept of the SBIK_E. The carbon fiber is already used in a portion of the false-tank and in the rear zone. An article of this concept was published in ULTIMATE MOTORCYCLING US magazine on June/July 2010 issue.
