Raúl Fernández, class of 2000, is the young Spanish rider who replaced the injured Darryn Binder of team Red Bull KTM Ajo during the weekend at the 2018 GP of Germany at Sachsenring, Moto3 class. SAKARTDESIGN has created and produced his new Red Bull helmet.

The young Spaniard spared no efforts with excellent qualifications and a race going on the offensive in the savage heap of Moto3. If he had not been touched when he was around the sixth position he would certainly have arrived in the top 6. Not giving up he made a comeback to the limit recovering from the bottom of the standings to the ninth place only 5 seconds behind the leader. Our congratulations to Raul for this great performance!

Raul has not been on two wheels that long. “It all started in November 2011. I had long been watching motorcycle racing since my father has always been an enthusiast. I climbed on a motorcycle with my father again and since then I could not get off. My father was my mentor, now my parents and my brother help and support me to fulfill my dream. In 2014 I started to race of full size circuits, previously I had only raced on kart tracks. In Estoril I had my best race. I started a seventeenth and on worked my way through to win.”

We thanks Red Bull, Raúl Fernández and the helmet supplier, Shark Helmet for their confidence in our Racing Rider Design service.
