After the exciting weekend in Argentina, MotoGP and its riders landed in Austin – Texas – for another great weekend of motorsport.

CotA is a long and insidious circuit where our riders have achieved great results, starting from the qualifying of Saturday; let’s look at what happened.

In Moto3 the Spanish rider of team EG0,0 Aron Canet took a great second place on the qualifying but unfortunately couldn’t keep it during the race, ending eighth. Anyway, important points for the Championship, as after Austin he took the second place.

In Moto2 it’s EG0,0 Marc VDS showtime, with their riders Alex Marquez and the rookie Joan Mir making the show. Marquez started from the pole while Mir from the fifth place, but during the first lap Joan suffered an accident that forced him to restart from the 12th position. From here he led a great comeback up to the final 4th place, very close to the portuguese Oliveira. In the meanwhile, Alex were fighting against Bagnaia for the race leadership, and only in the last laps Bagnaia got to overtake Marquez winning the race.

An indomitable Brad Binder, following a not good qualifying session – he started the race from the 16th place – made a great comeback in the race, improving his position up to the sixth at the checkered flag. He has shown his whole big potential that will allow him to make another great GP during the season.

In MotoGP, weekend stars were team Suzuki Ecstar and Andrea Iannone, second on the start grid thanks to a great qualifying session tackled with grit. In the race he demonstrated his fighting skills and an excellent race pace, firstly battling against Marquez and then against Viñales. He finished at the third place, after the two Spanishes. For Andrea is the first podium since he started his adventure in Suzuki and it seems that the alchemy man-bike is now finally working.

In two weeks MotoGP will move to Jerez de la Frontera for the first European GP, we can’t wait for it…and you?

In Jerez Mika Kallio will run his first wild card with Team Ktm and with his new HJC helmet designed by sakartdesign!
