BSB – BRITISH SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP

We start our collaboration with Scott Redding in view of his new adventure in BSB 2019 British Superbike Championship, riding the Ducati bike of the Be Wiser Team. A great change for him, coming from 5 MotoGP season and being the younger rider ever to win a GP in 2008 when he was 15, riding a 125cc bike.

Scott Redding is one of the most engaging riders on social media, with his entertaining content proving popular with race fans worldwide. The Briton has upped his game this season, producing a regular vlog on his YouTube channel that documents his time both on and off track and has built up a loyal following from the younger end of the motorsport audience.

The British Superbike Championship (BSB) continues to assert itself as the greatest domestic bike series in the world, and a producer of some of the sport’s hottest properties. If you haven’t witnessed the atmosphere first hand, the explosive acceleration off the line or the riders rubbing elbows at incredible speeds, then you really should! BSB has a huge army of fans who follow the championship around the UK, and that is a testament to the teams and riders who push themselves and their bikes to the limit, whilst never forgetting that they’re racing to entertain the massive crowds at the circuits.

For 2019 season, SAKARTDESIGN has designed and realized the graphics for Scott Redding SHARK helmet. The design has been conceived taking care of the positioning of his important sponsors. The aggressive black matte finishing and the handmade wolf eyes in the front part of the helmet, create a graphics with a strong stylistic impact that deeply reflects the character of a very experienced rider like Scott Redding.

We have also conceived the graphics of his new SPIDI suit for 2019 BSB season, the cap design and the coordinated imaging including the development of his presentation portfolio/sponsor opportunities that illustrates Scott’s career and his new objective for 2019 season.

We are really proud, satisfied and ready for 2019 BSB season. We thank Scott Redding, his entourage and the helmet supplier, Shark Helmets, for their confidence in our Racing Rider Design service.

CAREER

Scott Redding became the youngest GP winner ever in 2008 when he won the 125 GP class on home turf, also garnering the accolade of Rookie of the Year.

A strong challenger in Moto2 with multiple podium finishes, Redding was a key title contender in the class during 2013 – just missing out on the crown after a season cut short by injury. Moving up to MotoGP for 2014, Redding had a solid rookie year with the Gresini Team before signing to the new Marc VDS Racing GP project.

Taking his first premier class podium in Misano in 2015, the Brit moved to Octo Pramac Racing for 2016 and took another rostrum at the TT Circuit Assen, this time on a Ducati.

After two years with Octo Pramac Racing, Redding will switch in 2018 to ride the RS-GP with Aprilia Racing Team Gresini.
